[10:33:50] <deep42thought> oh
[10:33:54] <deep42thought> it's a typo
[10:41:37] * buildmaster resumes sanity.
[10:41:40] <deep42thought> !wtf libmozjs-52.so
[10:41:44] <phrik> deep42thought: extra/js52
[10:41:51] <deep42thought> buildmaster: wtf libmozjs-52.so
[10:41:55] <buildmaster> [extra] js52 (52.7.3-1.0): /usr/lib/libmozjs-52.so
[10:42:06] <deep42thought> !wtf libmozjs-52.so.0
[10:42:06] <phrik> deep42thought: What the hell is libmozjs-52.so.0?
[10:42:14] * deep42thought thought so
[10:42:37] <deep42thought> I was never a big fan of those pacman hooks
[12:06:19] -!- eduardoeae has joined #archlinux32
[12:06:52] <buildmaster> virtualbox-modules-arch is broken (says rechenknecht).
[13:02:22] <buildmaster> virtualbox is broken (says buildknecht3).
[13:36:47] <City-busz> girls: please add bluegriffon to the build list. It has not been built yet since it was removed from the blacklist.
[13:37:01] <tyzoid> deep42thought: You saw the issues from the logs of and openshadinglanguage?
[13:41:00] <deep42thought> tyzoid: I saw, but I was unsure if I should act - these are makedepends only
[13:42:44] <deep42thought> City-busz: oh, this looks like a bug - I didn't have in mind _removing_ something from the black-list
[13:45:50] <City-busz> it was removed by abaumann, because I requested it: https://github.com
[13:45:51] <phrik> Title:community/bluegriffon: removed from blacklist · archlinux32/packages@ef3108c · GitHub (at github.com)
[13:45:59] <deep42thought> yes, thats totally right
[13:46:13] <deep42thought> but it's wrong, that the buildmaster did not schedule it when it got removed
[13:46:19] <deep42thought> I just never thought of that case
[13:46:56] <City-busz> okay :)

[13:47:32] <buildmaster> Hi abaumann!
[13:49:29] <deep42thought> City-busz: it's at least documented now: https://packages.archlinux32.org

[13:49:32] <deep42thought> :-D
[13:56:17] <deep42thought> anyway, I gotta go

[15:17:23] <tyzoid> sorry about ipv6 dropping on srv1 :/ didn't realize I had switched the DNS without changing my iptables forwarding rules.
[15:17:26] <tyzoid> should be fixed now
[15:23:20] -!- abaumann has joined #archlinux32
[15:23:20] <buildmaster> Hi abaumann!
[15:23:35] <abaumann> tyzoid: IPv6 missing, didn't notice :-)
[15:24:03] <abaumann> I'm using my VM a little bit to adapt the buildslave for i486..
[15:24:57] <buildmaster> gitlab-gitaly is broken (says rechenknecht).
[15:28:04] <tyzoid> abaumann: srv0 was unaffected :P
[15:28:17] <tyzoid> But yeah, you're not using v6 anyway
[15:28:24] <tyzoid> also, wb
[15:30:58] <abaumann> the build scripts are not made for multiple architectures. :-(
[15:31:05] defrag is now known as eschwartz
[15:31:11] -!- oaken-source has joined #archlinux32
[15:31:14] <abaumann> but it gets better.. :-)
[15:31:22] <abaumann> just a namcap installation problem..
[15:37:56] <tyzoid> abaumann: Do you need more ram on that box? You're using 95% of the 512mb
[15:38:29] <abaumann> am I. well. This is compilation..
[15:38:40] <abaumann> I'm just testing at the moment, so it's ok.
[15:38:50] <tyzoid> I've got 16gb on the host, so if you need more, just ask
[15:38:57] <abaumann> ok.
[15:40:42] <tyzoid> CPU usage 102.90% of 1 CPU(s)
[15:40:43] <tyzoid> hmmm
[15:41:05] <abaumann> :-)
[15:41:12] <abaumann> I'm making good use of the CPU
[15:41:20] <tyzoid> cryptomining, I see
[15:41:53] <tyzoid> lol, just thought it was funny
[15:41:55] <abaumann> just compiled which as first i486 package with the buildslave.
[15:42:01] <abaumann> :-)
[15:42:03] <abaumann> it is.
[15:42:03] <tyzoid> sweet
[15:43:07] <abaumann> I can build a 486 version of a cryptominer, if you like.
[15:43:19] <tyzoid> Up to you. I don't think there's a need xD
[15:43:33] <tyzoid> you'd really want good nvidia drivers available
[15:43:38] <tyzoid> and I don't think they make i486 drivers
[15:44:00] <abaumann> no, because you need 100 486 machines to cope with one cellphone in terms of computation power :-)
[15:44:23] <tyzoid> yup. That said, if someone made a botnet and installed arch on everyone's router...
[15:44:35] <tyzoid> an i486 distributed cryptominer might be useful in that case
[15:45:01] <tyzoid> As a kind of recurring fee for maintaining arch on your router xD
[15:45:28] -!- oaken-source has quit [Ping timeout: 256 seconds]
[15:56:56] <abaumann> mmh. tyzoid: any clue why I have problems receiving gpg keys from the VM?
[15:57:16] <tyzoid> not sure
[15:57:18] <abaumann> mmh. never mind. now it worked.
[15:57:22] <tyzoid> ah, lol
[15:57:32] <abaumann> gpg is sometimes a little bit shacky..
[15:57:45] <abaumann> gpg: keyserver receive failed: Connection refused
[15:57:54] <tyzoid> odd
[15:58:06] <tyzoid> I usually specify --keyserver pgp.mit.edu
[15:58:18] <tyzoid> I usually don't have issues with that one
[15:59:15] <abaumann> I tries on 4 machines, 2 686, 2 486, only the 486 vm has problems.
[15:59:43] <abaumann> Anyway, I don't see the reason why we should check pgp keys in buildslaves, when they are automatically received anyway..
[16:00:05] <tyzoid> I've sometimes had issues with gpg2 behind a forward-proxy
[16:00:12] <tyzoid> but I've not had an issue on these systems
[16:01:44] <tyzoid> Sometimes when that happens, I just need to download the keys separately, then add them to the keyring manually
[16:01:55] <tyzoid> but yeah, it's annoying
[16:04:16] <abaumann> it's complainint about dirmngr.
[16:04:26] <abaumann> so I guess this daemon has issues
[16:04:47] <abaumann> error opening '/root/.gnupg/dirmngr_ldapservers.conf': No such file or directory
[16:04:50] <abaumann> oh my!
[16:05:01] <tyzoid> ah
[16:05:39] <abaumann> a non-fatal error message, it seems. killing dirmngr didn't help
[16:07:07] <abaumann> oh. /etc/resolv.conf was empty :-)
[16:07:21] <abaumann> more than subtle error message..
[16:07:40] <tyzoid> abaumann: I think I know what happened
[16:07:48] <tyzoid> systemd-resolved is trying to get dns servers from dhcp
[16:07:51] <tyzoid> but there isn't dhcp
[16:08:01] <abaumann> yes.
[16:08:07] <abaumann> and it leaves /etc/resolv.conf empty.
[16:08:11] <tyzoid> yup
[16:08:24] <abaumann> glad we sorted that out. :-)
[16:09:22] <abaumann> I have a systemd profile with a hard-coded DNS entry and systemd-resolved obviously makes a mess of things.
[16:09:39] <tyzoid> yup
[16:09:57] <abaumann> should have used netctl. :-)
[16:10:09] <tyzoid> from experience, systemd likes to "take over" things it has no knowledge of how to properly handle
[16:10:20] <abaumann> !grab
[16:10:21] <phrik> abaumann: grab [<channel>] <nick>
[16:10:26] <abaumann> !grab tyzoid
[16:10:26] <phrik> abaumann: Tada!
[16:10:47] <tyzoid> this is going to ruin my quotegrabs record though...,
[16:10:48] <tyzoid> !rq
[16:10:48] <phrik> tyzoid: <cyrus1> he'll get the idea.
[16:10:54] <tyzoid> !rq tyzoid
[16:10:54] <phrik> tyzoid: <tyzoid> All my recipes have MSG added as an additional ingrediant.
[16:10:58] <tyzoid> !rq tyzoid
[16:10:58] <phrik> tyzoid: <tyzoid> bugs are just unintended features
[16:11:02] <tyzoid> !rq tyzoid
[16:11:02] <phrik> tyzoid: <tyzoid> sangy: I wonder if anyone has init=/usr/bin/emacs before
[16:11:05] <tyzoid> :/
[16:11:10] <abaumann> lol
[16:11:14] <abaumann> !rq abaumann
[16:11:14] <phrik> abaumann: <abaumann> This will make guys happy, I actually checked the knowledge base of bugs first.. ;-)
[16:11:24] <tyzoid> at one point, all of mine were *oblivious user is oblivious*
[16:11:32] <tyzoid> !multirq tyzoid
[16:11:33] <phrik> <tyzoid> bugs are just unintended features <tyzoid> from experience, systemd likes to "take over" things it has no knowledge of how to properly handle <tyzoid> mpan: I'm bad at trolling because I'm not trolling. <tyzoid> from experience, systemd likes to "take over" things it has no knowledge of how to properly handle <tyzoid> from experience, systemd likes to "take over" things it has no knowledge of how to (1 more message)
[16:11:54] <tyzoid> oh, well
[16:13:20] <tyzoid> abaumann: Did adding entries to resolv.conf fix gpg?
[16:13:30] <abaumann> yes.
[16:13:55] <abaumann> that was the root cause. acutaly dirmngr could say something like 'DNS resolve error' instead of connection refused.
[16:14:02] <abaumann> would be extremly helpfull
[16:14:29] <tyzoid> dirmngr should do a lot of things it doesn't do. Unlike systemd.
[16:14:40] <tyzoid> but enough hating on sysd
[16:14:47] <tyzoid> glad it's working
[16:14:50] <abaumann> yep.
[16:18:18] <tyzoid> abaumann: Remember the issue we had yesterday with iptables?
[16:18:29] <tyzoid> how I mistyped one of the bytes in the ipv4?
[16:19:02] <tyzoid> just did that again :/
[16:19:10] <tyzoid> same digit
[16:20:11] <abaumann> oh.
[16:20:21] <abaumann> that's annoying.
[16:21:26] <tyzoid> yup
[16:28:28] <buildmaster> girls, my database is dirty again ...

[16:58:50] <eschwartz> abaumann: what's this about -any packages with arch-dependent data? I'm pretty sure python bytecode is OS-dependent but not bitness-dependent. When packages have compiled C extensions they're correctly marked as x86_64
[16:59:35] <eschwartz> also thanks for cinnamon-settings-daemon
[17:09:03] <abaumann> eschwartz: you are absolutely right. python bytecode is architecture independent.
[17:09:30] <abaumann> the problem was, we got into 'any'-discussions because of 'adding-another-if' in the database schema :-)
[17:10:09] <abaumann> perl modules on the other hand usually compile a shared library, so they would be architecture-dependend.
