[14:33:43] <girls> regarding the "git gc": I accidentally only "disabled" the timer but did not "stop" it :-/
[14:34:03] <girls> I tried to clean up the dirty packages, let's see if that helps :-)

[14:38:09] <girls> and I support abaumanns statement: the main components running on the buildmaster (in terms of computation requirements) are mariadb and the git repositories ("git gc" and "git log" are the main causes of i/o there)
[14:38:23] <girls> so: splitting off the irc bot makes almost no difference
[14:38:33] <girls> mariadb might be worth a consideration
[14:38:51] <girls> but I'd like to keep it running close to the build master (e.g. not over the ocean)
