[00:00:04] <thePiGrepper> hmm. oh, I see. interesting. do you happen to know if current export uses trunk? I need to read that part of the code
[00:00:13] <deep42thought> yes, it does
[00:00:25] <thePiGrepper> I see, then I was gonna do that anyway.
[00:00:29] <deep42thought> at least, that's what I thought
[00:00:34] <deep42thought> ah, nice :-)
[00:00:51] <deep42thought> btw: I'll go to bed in a few minutes
[00:01:14] <thePiGrepper> Ill update you if anything changes. Ive been dogfooding the checkout option for the last couple of weeks or so w/o issue
[00:01:42] <thePiGrepper> ok. when I have a PR Ill let you know, and maybe you can give it a try
[00:02:08] <deep42thought> yeah, thanks for your work!
[00:02:12] <thePiGrepper> oh, almost forgot
[00:02:17] <thePiGrepper> before you go
[00:02:33] <thePiGrepper> are you familiar with the downgrade package?
[00:02:59] <deep42thought> no
[00:03:02] <thePiGrepper> it's a very useful package in the AUR, that uses the archive
[00:03:16] <thePiGrepper> to let you visualize all the available versions of a package
[00:03:29] <thePiGrepper> and select one to upgrade/downgrade at will
[00:03:36] <thePiGrepper> quite useful
[00:04:30] <thePiGrepper> it's almost ready to be used by arch32, it has an option to force the url of the archive
[00:05:18] <thePiGrepper> I modified the PKGBUILD to build an extra file downgrade32 that basically does this in a oneliner. might be useful. I dont know
[00:05:41] <deep42thought> sounds useful to me
[00:06:19] <deep42thought> but if the upstream package is "only" in aur, I'd keep the al32 version in the aur only, too probably
[00:06:27] <deep42thought> (does this even make sense^?)
[00:07:01] <deep42thought> I'll go to bed now, got to get up early tomo ... ah .. today :-(
[00:07:09] <thePiGrepper> yeah, I was thinking about that. the difference it's quite small between both, and an archer can always do that change by hand
[00:07:21] <thePiGrepper> ok, thx again
[00:07:27] <deep42thought> np :-)

[12:37:12] <buildmaster> i686/prometheus-blackbox-exporter is broken (says eurobuild3).
[13:09:18] <bill-auger> "ubie" because "an ubie" sounds like "a newbie"
[13:10:02] <bill-auger> also "uber" IIRC is a german word that means somethng like extra special or great
[13:10:52] -!- deep42thought has joined #archlinux32
[13:10:52] <buildmaster> Hi deep42thought!
[13:10:52] <buildmaster> !rq deep42thought
[13:10:54] <phrik> buildmaster: <deep42thought> ahm, what is actually in the package "vulkan-headers" on i486? I thought, we disabled all vulcans?
[13:11:41] <deep42thought> bill-auger: the word is "über" (sounds more like eeber than uber) - but yes, that's why I was proposing it - btw. it simply means "above"
[13:13:50] <bill-auger> i used to hear people say that here in the US - everyone pronounced it "oo-ber", though im sure none really knew what it meant
[13:14:02] <bill-auger> is it german? - did i get that much correct?
[13:14:08] <deep42thought> yes, it's german
[13:14:32] <deep42thought> we germans are used to wrongly pronounced umlauts in the u.s. ;-)
[13:16:39] <bill-auger> i dont know that word "umlauts", but there is an umlautes who wrote the v4l loopback bridge
[13:16:58] <deep42thought> Umlaut in german: ä.ö.ü.ß
[13:17:05] <bill-auger> he is always in the debian-multimedia IRC
[13:17:56] <deep42thought> maybe, he is german, too, and the word really does not exist in other languages ;-P
