[11:07:24] <buildmaster> !rq deep42thought
[11:07:27] <phrik> buildmaster: <deep42thought> one day, some genius will prove, that all programming languages are isomorphic and there is actually only _one_ compiler
[11:07:46] <deep42thought> abaumann: the empty dynamic sites are probably fallout from my XSS-fixing :-)

[12:12:09] <phrik> buildmaster: <tyzoid> As much as I hate willy-nilly disabling sanity / stability checks, but counterintuitively, I think disabling haskell's checks might make arch32 *more* stable.

[13:53:44] <buildmaster> i686/octave is broken (says rechenknecht).
[13:58:43] <deep42thought> abaumann: do you like the broken-packages list better, now?
[13:59:30] <deep42thought> I accidentally also encoded the '&' separating the parameters in $_GET - which broke my own code :-/
[14:39:43] <deep42thought> /var/lib/dkms/vboxsf/6.0.4_OSE/build/vboxsf/super.c:153:14: error: ‘MS_REMOUNT’ undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean ‘DT_RELCOUNT’?

[16:23:22] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[16:23:23] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> I start to get allergic shocks just by having to deal with rust.. :-)
[16:24:45] <abaumann> deep42thought: thanks for fixing the XSS fixes. :-)
[16:25:17] <abaumann> the broken package list looks better now..

[16:38:20] <abaumann> mmh. the buildmaster is not available?
[16:38:37] <abaumann> now it is.. weird..
[16:38:58] <abaumann> mmh. I think, my network has some hickups (non fire-related)..
[17:07:50] <buildmaster> i686/vtk is broken (says eurobuild3).

[19:18:19] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[19:18:19] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> but.. I'm also famous to break my own rules as soon as I see fit. :->
[19:19:05] <abaumann> reber: I fail to see the graphic card you are using, check if your acceleration modules and stuff are loaded, cinammon goes heavy on acceleration, I think..
[19:19:58] <abaumann> also.. asking the forum https://bbs.archlinux32.org in "Kernel & Hardware" might be a better idea, more people see it..

[21:19:21] <reber> abauman ok thx
[21:23:13] <reber> what is the answer to that : "Please respond with an answer to the question: `uname -m` for arch32 " ???
[21:23:44] <reber> "You answered incorrectly to the "Human or Robot" question, or you are a Bot!" ...
[21:25:38] <bill-auger> reber: that is asking to you run a command in our terminal
[21:26:16] <bill-auger> usually when you see `back ticks` that is a command
[21:27:15] <bill-auger> so it is asking, boot arch32 then open a terminal and type the command `uname -m` into, then put the answer in the web page
[21:32:09] <reber> bill-auger, yes done, it says : "bash: i686: command not found"
[21:33:39] <reber> with uname, it says Linux
[21:33:46] <reber> bill-auger, what is the right answer then ?
[21:35:08] <reber> `uname -m` is th wrong command ...
[21:35:15] <reber> uname -m is the right command ...
[21:49:05] <buildmaster> i686/teamspeak3-server is broken (says nlopc46).
[22:11:35] <bill-auger> ko reber sorry - i should have been more clear
[22:12:26] <bill-auger> when you see a command inside `back ticks` printed somewhere - it is implied that you do not actually type the backticks
[22:13:10] <bill-auger> they are only there in print to indicate what is inside the back ticks are a command; but the back ticks are not part of the command
[22:18:49] <reber> aye thx
[22:19:04] <reber> it can be confusing tho
[22:19:54] -!- reber has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
[22:20:02] <bill-auger> that is very common though - you will see it often exactly that way
[22:21:00] <bill-auger> the backticks as you learned will use the output in place rather than printing it as a result
[22:21:15] <bill-auger> you could also
[22:21:15] <bill-auger> echo `uname -m`
[22:22:00] <bill-auger> when printed on an instructions page though - the backtick are never inteneded to be typed
