[01:47:41] <thePiGrepper> apparently neomutt isnt opening without libidn.so.12, which is in libidn, however the package says it requires libidn2 instead.

[07:07:51] <buildmaster> Hi deep42thought!
[07:07:51] <buildmaster> !rq deep42thought
[07:07:52] <phrik> buildmaster: <deep42thought> ahm, what is actually in the package "vulkan-headers" on i486? I thought, we disabled all vulcans?
[07:08:11] <deep42thought> thePiGrepper: indeed - and our database picked it up correctly
[07:08:24] <deep42thought> neomutt in [community-staging] should solve that issue
[07:10:35] <deep42thought> I'll move it to [community] as I fail to see any other differences in the dependencies
[07:29:05] -!- deep42thought has quit [Quit: Leaving.]

[08:57:33] <buildmaster> Hi deep42thought!
[08:57:34] <buildmaster> !rq deep42thought
[08:57:35] <phrik> buildmaster: <deep42thought> documented => the bug becomes a feature
[10:02:46] <buildmaster> i686/golang-deepin-lib is broken (says rechenknecht).

[11:10:38] <buildmaster> Hi deep42thought!
[11:10:38] <buildmaster> !rq deep42thought
[11:10:40] <phrik> buildmaster: <deep42thought> it was too slow - they don't offer that speed anymore, so they rounded down to 0
[12:08:26] -!- quequotion has quit [Read error: Connection reset by peer]
[12:09:03] -!- quequotion has joined #archlinux32
[12:51:23] <thePiGrepper> deep42thought: the issue seems to be unresolved. now neomutt is requiring libidn2.so.0, and libidn2 only has libidn2.so.4. maybe send testing/libidn2 to stable?
[12:51:58] <thePiGrepper> oops, sorry, that wont help, the current libidn2 package seems newer than the one asked by neomutt
[13:06:07] <bill-auger> thePiGrepper: thats just a confusing version number change - the one in testing is newer
[13:06:52] <thePiGrepper> ok, then, just un upgrade to testing/libidn2 would fix it?
[13:07:07] <bill-auger> probablyyou can just enable testing and upgrade
[13:09:17] <thePiGrepper> libidn2 is core right? shouldnt it be possible to install by 'pacman -S testing/libidn2'?
[13:09:36] <bill-auger> thePiGrepper: [staging] i meant
[13:10:45] <thePiGrepper> I see.
[13:12:03] <bill-auger> there is also a new versio of mutt in [staging] - will will want to do a full upgrade
[13:15:07] -!- guys has joined #archlinux32
[13:24:29] <deep42thought> hmm, libidn2 is in staging for quite some time now
[13:24:35] <deep42thought> I wonder why it is not being moved ...

[13:29:52] -!- Alina-malina has joined #archlinux32
[13:43:49] <deep42thought> ok, the problem seems to be, that some packages are linked against yet another version of libidn2, so everything got stuck :-)
[13:43:57] <deep42thought> I rescheduled those
[13:44:11] <deep42thought> hopefully the issue resolves itself w/o issueing "db-update -f"

[15:11:23] <javashin> same message for every server

[18:15:51] <buildmaster> Hi abaumann!
[18:15:51] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[18:15:52] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> The future looks bright, no window managers working, Xorg not working, sound and video stuff "optimized", so not working. Gives us a nice text-only distribution. :-)
[18:16:02] <abaumann> might be a while till my slave and mirror are up again.
[18:16:09] <abaumann> we just had a power outage in Zurich..

[18:51:59] <phrik> buildmaster: <deep42thought> doesn't one usually try to avoid rust on metals?
[18:52:11] <deep42thought> !ping
[18:52:12] <phrik> pong
[18:52:31] <deep42thought> abaumann: you're on battery now?

[19:12:59] <buildmaster> Hi abaumann!
[19:13:00] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[19:13:01] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> naa.. not testing never has bad consequences.. ;-)
[19:13:04] <abaumann> hi deep42thought
[19:13:17] <deep42thought> Hi abaumann!
[19:13:18] <abaumann> back on good old Montain water power in Zurich :-)
[19:13:24] <deep42thought> :-D
[19:13:38] <abaumann> stil fixing some things in the office. *urgh*
[19:13:43] <abaumann> had the same power surge.
[19:14:06] <abaumann> and my Pentium S-150 is dead.. have to check if it got a hit..
[19:17:54] <abaumann> "CMOS battery checksum error" please press F1 :-)
[19:19:15] <deep42thought> maybe the dead battery _caused_ the outage ;-)
[19:32:27] <abaumann> more like a big construction truck hitting a 15kV line..
[19:32:41] <deep42thought> oh
[20:00:24] -!- thePiGrepper has quit [Ping timeout: 272 seconds]
[20:27:24] <deep42thought> I think, there would be quite some use for an auto-F1-presser hardware token
[20:59:39] <abaumann> mmh.. that's a funny motherboard.. I fail to spot a battery.. maybe something is soddered somewhere..
[21:00:47] <deep42thought> :-/
[21:01:01] <deep42thought> are cmos batteries sometimes on the back?
[21:01:27] <abaumann> dunno.
[21:01:37] <abaumann> I don't like the idea to take that thing apart..
[21:01:43] <deep42thought> :-D
[21:01:52] <abaumann> attaching a keyboard and just pressing F1 seems an easier option. :-)
[21:14:26] -!- abaumann has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
[21:21:09] <KitsuWhooa> <abaumann> mmh.. that's a funny motherboard.. I fail to spot a battery.. maybe something is soddered somewhere.. <-- you're in for a lot of fun if it uses a dallas timekeeper IC
[21:21:52] <KitsuWhooa> only way to fix those is to cut their top off until you find the contacts of the built-in cell, cut them and then solder in a new cell on top
