[17:08:08] <girls> KitsuWhooa: have a look at https://buildmaster.archlinux32.org
[17:08:09] <phrik> Title: Index of /build-logs/success (at buildmaster.archlinux32.org)
[17:08:19] <girls> they are stored for some time, but not indefinitely IIRC
[17:08:35] <girls> ah, they're only the namcap logs, sry
[17:16:13] <girls> is it possible to run `mkinitcpio -p linux` on an arch32 chroot which is mounted on a foreign host (x86_64, crux linux)?
[17:16:40] <girls> e.g. to create the initramdisk for the arch32 machine (which is currently broken)
[17:18:45] <girls> hmm, my /etc/mkinitcpio.d/linux.preset is missing - where does that file usually come from?
[17:20:05] <girls> reinstalling the kernel seems to have helped
[17:21:43] <girls> wooohooo, my router is not broken, only the initramdisk was missing ... now I have two of those boxes, hmmm

[21:45:15] <jirido> Hi all. I have just installed but have problems getting in. I have 2 partitions, sd1 is 1Mb(for grubs core.img) and sda2 that is 149Gb. After wiping and encrypting sda2 with luks I opened it and made it to a physical volume with "pvcreate /dev/sda2" and also made it a volume-group with "vgcreate lunar /dev/sda2" .. Then I made 3 logical-volumes, root home and swap. After that I ofcorse made
[21:45:22] <jirido> filesystems on them right.. I then set grub to open sda2 from core.img and it works fine so far, Grub loads and initramfs starts but then dumps me to rescue shell.. [rootfs] saying that it cant find root system. dont know the filesystem type of new_root.. Hm. So When set it up like this, do i need to point to any "cryptdevice" in /etc/default/grub ? And if i do, do I use the device
[21:45:27] <jirido> /dev/mapper/lunar-root /dev/mapper/cryptlvm or /dev/lunar/root ? And when I open the crypted container already from grubs core.img do i really need to have the encrypt and lvm2 hooks in mkinitcpio.conf ?
[22:09:19] <jirido> Is this arch 32 really dead
[22:09:28] <jirido> nahh
[22:11:14] <T`aZ_> you might need to wait some hours :p
[22:12:23] <T`aZ_> i don't know anything about luks/lvm etc, sorry
[22:16:03] <jirido> T`aZ_: ahh lovely to se life :) hope is restored!
[22:17:04] <T`aZ_> yes, well, arch32 is, i think, done by 2, 3, or 4 people max, and it seems they are not online now, so be patient :p
[22:17:23] <T`aZ_> this project rox anyway \o/
[22:19:12] <jirido> T`aZ_: Yupp! I don't dare to ask in #archlinux, they know Im on a 32bit now so they just flame me..
[22:19:32] <T`aZ_> not nice :/
[22:19:47] <T`aZ_> your issue is indeed probably not relatd to eing 32bits at all :/
[22:19:51] <T`aZ_> being*
[22:20:06] <jirido> namgorod was evil with me yesterday and dont care if its related
[22:20:52] <jirido> Make me sad, the channal was totaly empty of need and it was just sticklery
[22:21:43] <jirido> Ill go try anyway.. ;)
[22:44:39] jirido is now known as jirido32bit
