[09:16:46] * buildmaster goes insane.
[09:47:30] <girls> buildmaster: what are you doing???
[09:54:09] <nit-picker> dependencies of python-protobuf-3.10.1-1.1-i686.pkg.tar.xz (built on 2019-12-04) differ between the package and our database
[09:56:09] * buildmaster resumes sanity.
[10:33:29] <girls> oh, the latest isos are not runnable on i686
[10:33:45] <girls> a.k.a.: I broke archiso32

[16:19:16] <girls> can anyone check if the new i686 iso and the new dual-boot iso work on i686? My virtual box currently refuses to boot them - but it also refuses to boot older versions (?)

[18:21:00] <buildmaster> Hi abaumann!
[18:21:00] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[18:21:01] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> who would have thought digital books burn too. ;-)
[18:21:39] <abaumann> deep42thought: at least in libvirt/pentium2 for i686 and x86 for the dual worked.
[18:22:02] <abaumann> On a real CD I get unable to mount ARCH_202001 by label, but I think, this was always the case.
[18:22:03] -!- abaumann has quit [Client Quit]
[18:26:03] <KitsuWhooa> Assuming my laptop can read CD-RW, I'll burn a disc and try
[18:26:25] <girls> thanks
[18:27:16] -!- davor has quit [Quit: Bye]
[18:27:23] <KitsuWhooa> that is, if I can find and seeders on the torrent
[18:27:50] <KitsuWhooa> oh, there are direct links below
[18:27:52] <KitsuWhooa> didn't notice
[18:28:55] <KitsuWhooa> and suddenly a bunch of them, well then

[18:51:47] <KitsuWhooa> girls: the i686 "booted" on my laptop
[18:51:55] <KitsuWhooa> and by that I mean the kernel started and then panicked because of a disc IO error
[18:51:58] <girls> good, thanks :-)
[18:52:01] <KitsuWhooa> but that's because the CD is scratched to death
[18:52:04] <girls> ah, oh
[18:52:22] <KitsuWhooa> The file it failed to open can be accessed just fine with the iso mounted
[18:54:08] <KitsuWhooa> let's try again :p
[19:07:22] <KitsuWhooa> Yeah, unfortunately I don't have any other discs that are in better shape at the moment. It does run the bootloader and boot the kernel though, so I'd call that a success
[19:07:37] <girls> ok, thanks :-)
[19:07:47] <KitsuWhooa> np

[19:50:46] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[19:50:46] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> I'm all for an docdepends upstreams and a doc hook, in order to reduce all those silly dependencies just to get documentation nobody reads afterwards, because they don't know about the 'man' command.. (rant of the day)
[19:51:08] * abaumann is back from installing a working DVD burner into a 20 year old pentium III machine
[19:52:28] * abaumann has a sceptical look at his only surviving DVD-RW disc - noticing some nice scratches
