[13:43:29] <eureka> Hello, There I have problem in runnig pandoc. error while loading shared libraries, the same thing happened at trying to build it from source on installing cabal, searching the archlinux32.org wiki and going throughh archlinux32.org packages there were dependencies marked in red. how can i run pandoc ? any help would be great!

[13:51:23] <T`aZ> one of the dependency has propably not been updated (not your fault), run lddtree on pandoc to see which lib is missing

[14:04:53] <T`aZ> hooo, haskell packages, those are fucked up to build. You'll have to wait until sombody else can give you pointers :(

[14:12:47] <eureka> but unfortunately the version of the libraries required by pandoc are newer which means one has to downgrade all 146 haskell packages ...

[14:22:10] <girls> haskell (and thus pandoc) is a PITA to compile ...
[14:26:22] <girls> I think, currently haskell is so broken, that it's worth rescheduling *all* of it >:-)
[14:33:19] <eureka> so, i looked for rpm i686 packages for pandoc and there weren't any , went to debian downloaded the 2.9 version of pandoc and got it open with ar -vx , had to install two dependencies cmark and haskell-cmark-gfm , libpcre.so.3 was missing in the debian pandoc binary , made a symbolic link from arch's libprce.so.1 ,a dded it to ldconfig , reinstalled pandoc , replaced arch's binary with
