[09:31:56] <abaumann> wow. error handling in python is really at the limits.. you make a meson --prefux=/usr, you get "module pytest" not found (python_installation). the backtrace is lost which actually says: "ImportError: cannot import name 'Container' from 'collections' (/usr/lib/python3.10/collections/__init__.py)"
[09:32:35] <abaumann> the only rescue currently is that python is written in C, so you can use strace to find that python_installation does a python -m 'import pytest' to check whether the module exists.

[17:06:34] <abaumann> So, I checked a little bit: I rebuilt pyudev by hand and installed it into the libwacom chroot, the python import pyudev works fine. It turns out, that if I build pyudev with the buildmaster I get an old version somehow
[17:07:05] <abaumann> Also when I use asp32 I get python 3.10.1, but upstream has python 3.10.2. I have absolutely no trust in what gets downloaded from where!
[17:07:39] <abaumann> I assume for now that the buildmaster does something weird and I'll stop all slaves.
