[02:24:40] <bill-auger> Menzador: "too new" is not the concern - the kernel is not perfect - some versions will have bugs that others do not - the age is not important

[02:30:06] <bill-auger> if you would like to try a newer kernel, i would suggest parabola's linux-libre - that is 6.5.8 - you can simply install it to your arch32 system with pacman

[02:31:42] <bill-auger> if that also works and youd like a newer kernel, you can compile your own using arch32's or parabola's PKGBUILD, and it also will probably work
[02:33:48] <bill-auger> that is, bugs in the kernel often affect only one or a small few nearby versions - it could be only a fluke that arch32's current kernel does not work for you

[17:48:12] <Menzador> bill-auger: Yeah, I'm going to chalk that up to a fluke. I installed Debian and I was able to upgrade to kernel 6.5.x series without issue. When Arch32 releases a kernel >6.6.x I'll try again
