[06:27:33] <KitsuWhooa> the chroots are broken
[06:27:42] <KitsuWhooa> it's complaining that it can't satisfy dependencies for base-devel

[07:14:59] <KitsuWhooa> I'm going to stop buildmaster so that it's not marking packages as broken
[07:15:23] <KitsuWhooa> actually, I don't think it does
[07:15:25] <KitsuWhooa> so maybe it's okay

[08:07:35] <buildmaster> Hi abaumann!
[08:07:35] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[08:07:36] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> maybe ipv4 was removed from the kernel? ;-)
[08:07:50] <abaumann> KitsuWhooa: saw some breaking stuff around gpg and libassuan 3.
[08:09:27] <KitsuWhooa> yeah, that's what that is
[08:09:38] <KitsuWhooa> it's just running nonstop doing nothing
[08:09:53] <KitsuWhooa> as in, failing to build everything
[08:10:20] <KitsuWhooa> I suspect we'll need to fix it manually and inject the package into build-support-manual
[08:10:25] <abaumann> right.
[08:10:31] <abaumann> I don't see another option
[08:10:41] <KitsuWhooa> I haven't had time yet to look into it, but if you want to do so, feel free
[08:10:59] <KitsuWhooa> I was just checking up on my builders and saw that they were not doing much
[08:11:13] <KitsuWhooa> (I usually have a tmux with watch-build-logs running for every builder in a new window)
[08:11:23] <abaumann> nothing bad happens: we are just filling logs and burning electrons.
[08:11:35] <KitsuWhooa> and downloading source packages :p
[08:11:40] <abaumann> ahem, yes. :-)
[08:11:53] <KitsuWhooa> I suspect people hosting them aren't too happy about that :p
[08:12:12] <abaumann> build machines are stopped now (all of them)
[08:12:13] <KitsuWhooa> although since it's not looping it's probably a couple of hits at best
[08:12:27] <abaumann> abiword is just a ghost from my machine, it's not building actually.
[08:12:37] <KitsuWhooa> oh yeah, abiword has been broken for a while
[08:12:48] <KitsuWhooa> I think the website/domain/source is dead
[08:12:50] <abaumann> just the download location changed, hotfix in place
[08:12:53] <KitsuWhooa> ah
[08:13:14] <abaumann> I have to do maintainance on the buildmster anyway now
[08:13:20] <KitsuWhooa> a 301 would've been nice of them
[08:13:32] <KitsuWhooa> (if I'm still logged in feel free to kick me out if you need to reboot)
[08:14:00] <abaumann> ok
[08:16:56] <abaumann> mmh, abiword also breaks happy on 64-bit.

[15:30:36] <buildmaster> Hi abaumann!
[15:30:36] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[15:30:36] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> finally I have an excuse to sit inside all day and hack away..
[15:30:59] <abaumann> So, had to make a libassuan0-libs shim package (is in the manual build-support pool)
[15:31:30] <abaumann> in archbuild (devtools) you can just set base-packages=(base-devel libassuan0-libs) to rebuild gpgme (which I did now).
[15:31:42] <abaumann> So, I'm testing if the build slaves build normally again now.
[15:31:54] <abaumann> I don't think libassuan is used in many places.
[15:32:21] <abaumann> Quite bad: I did a pacman-static update lately with libassuan 3 and forgot about the fact, this could break build slaves now.
[15:35:03] <abaumann> ah, gnupg, pinentry also need a rebuild, ok well on - hold your (build) horses for now :-)
[15:37:34] <abaumann> it would be nice if I wouldn't have to patch out qt6 in all core packages :->

[17:33:25] <buildmaster> Hi abaumann!
[17:33:26] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[17:33:26] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> storing old motherboards: pro-tip, always remove all batteries _before_ storing them
[17:38:55] <abaumann> "normal" builds should work again. i486 is still being fixed..
[17:39:12] <gehidore> phrik hush buildmaster
[17:39:12] <phrik> gehidore: Tada!
[17:39:16] <gehidore> wird
[17:39:23] <gehidore> now I hav eto figure out how to fix that
[17:39:35] <abaumann> nono, I'm on it.
[17:39:37] <gehidore> stupid buffer switch in weechat is a killer
[17:39:42] <abaumann> ah.
[17:39:48] <gehidore> phrik unhush buildmaster
[17:39:48] <phrik> gehidore: Bazinga!
[17:39:51] <gehidore> that should work
[17:39:55] <abaumann> lol
[17:40:16] <gehidore> trying to make him ignore someone in another channel and it bloops me here and I hit tab return -_-
[17:40:18] <gehidore> silly me
[17:41:15] <gehidore> yup checked the list it's removed, my bad
[17:41:25] <gehidore> nothing to see here, just an idiot doing stupid things :P
[17:41:56] <Cthuutloops> so whats the deal with qt6? is it not ever going to work?
[17:42:03] <gehidore> being in this channel makes me want to see how shitty of a 486 I could run archlinux32 on honestly
[17:42:37] <gehidore> I'm certain I've got a 33mhz machine sitting somewhere at my parents house lost in the attic or something
[17:42:45] <gehidore> but that would mean going there and attempting to access the attic
[17:43:00] <abaumann> Cthuutloops: it is mainly broken on i486 because of some atomic stuff
[17:43:47] <abaumann> gehidore: the bbs has still a section for nice picture of old machines (running Arch32) :-)
[17:43:53] <abaumann> *pictures
[17:44:06] <abaumann> new additions welcome. :-)
[17:44:28] <abaumann> the nicest one lately was by action retro, an instrustrial thingy with quite strange keyboard.
[17:44:50] <gehidore> some compaq machine that might have had 4M ram true desktop computer that was intended to have the monitor sit on the case
[17:45:11] <abaumann> 4M is too low, I mangaged to get to some 24MB or so
[17:46:21] <abaumann> but usually you can get ram for cheap and pimp those old machines to max ram.
[17:47:43] <gehidore> sounds fun
[17:48:03] <gehidore> I know that machine had some 5.25" hdd that was 2 bays tall in it
[17:48:13] <gehidore> weighed more than the computer itself
[17:48:22] <abaumann> go with a compact flash
[17:48:33] <abaumann> the chances that such an old hard disk is still running, is not that high.
[17:49:06] <abaumann> CF to IDE adapters are cheap. Or some SD card to IDE thingy
