Notes
- These compilers are only functional for kernel builds, they cannot be used to build userspace code.
For complete toolchains, go to https://toolchains.bootlin.com/ - For the complete set of binaries, see the bin directory. This includes compiler versions 4.9.4, 5.5.0, 6.5.0, 7.5.0, 8.5.0, 9.5.0, 10.5.0, 11.4.0 and 12.3.0 for most architectures.
- Old builds (up to 4.9.0) were done by Tony Breeds and signed with GPG key 0x5E442088ED632E87
- New builds are done by Arnd Bergmann and signed with GPG key 0x60AB47FFC9095227
- hexagon kernels can only be built with clang
Source
These compilers are built from GCC and Binutils sources from the FSF, for convenience that are mirrored here. For certain architectures patches may have been applied. Please check the patches directory. They are built using a modified version of the buildall scripts from Segher Boessenkool.
